Modeled after the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, the Samsung D600 Conquer 4G is Sprint's newly innovated and low-cost WiMax mid-range smart phone. This new handset, powered by a 1 GHz single core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, features dual 3G/4G connectivity, 32 GB expandable memory, an LED flash megapixel 3.2 MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera, and A-GPS. All of these features can be seen on a 320 x 480 pixel display and accessed through either the Conquer's 3.5-inch HVGA touch-screen or a sliding, physical QWERTY keyboard. The phone's functions, which extend to its Sprint ID packs, including bundled applications, themes, and widgets, are further enhanced through Tri-Band CDMA options, Wi-fi connectivity, Bluetooth capability and Samsung Conquer accessories. There are a number of further specifications for this latest Samsung smartphone: messaging permits SMS, MMS, Email, and Google Talk interchanges, while a basic organizer provides a calendar, alarm, and simple calculator. The built-in camera, in addition to taking high-resolution shots that can easily be geo-tagged, serves as a video recording device, allowing for video capture, playback, and calling. Multimedia facets also feature streaming music and Youtube players that can be heard either through the phone's loudspeakers or 3.5mm jack.

This latest Sprint model also features a line of Samsung Conquer accessories, all of which seek to accommodate the phone's many capabilities. In order to protect the Conquer's interface, a variety of screen protectors are available to not only preserve the touch-screens functionality, but to provide other options such as anti-glare relief. Samsung Conquer's foaming screen cleanser can also maintain the condition of the display, while fine-brush stylus pens negate the possibility of grease stains, smudges, or scratches. The Android model also offers a line of custom silicon skins, plastic cases, and pouches to secure the remaining body of the device.

The Li-Ion battery life can be maintained through multiple solutions, including adapters, car chargers, and attachable back-up batteries, while USB and micro USB data cables, which can also extend the battery duration, offer a medium through which information and media can be easily transferred between this Android phone and a number of external sources. Wireless Bluetooth car kit bundles, including in-car speakerphones and rear-view mirror attachments, permit almost constant-hand free interaction. Further wired audio devices, including stereo headsets and indoor-outdoor speakers, are also available in conjunction with this new model. Additional universal Samsung Conquer Accessories provide even more options. There is a vast range of memory cards and readers that provide as much as 2GB storage space. For commute, there are multiple smartphone mounts available that can be attached to sun-visor, dashboard, lighter socket, cup holder, or floor.
